Alongside our regular church coffee mornings on the third Wednesday of every month at 10.30am in Longdon Club, and other one-off events, we needed to raise some money to defend ourselves from the infestation of woodworm found in the organ.

Work on the organ is now completed and we have paid the bill, though the project is still open for donations. Thank you to all those who have so generously donated to this project. Had the woodworm got the upper hand and the woodwork in the organ and around the church become seriously infected, the consequences would have been far-reaching and the cost of rectification would have been much higher.

The more general fundraising to protect the 900-year-old building and keep it open as a parish resource continues. Our Events page lists some of the events that are planned in this constant quest.
Looking forward to Summer? So are we!

Our Open Gardens will be on 8th and 9th June. Let's hope for some fine Summer weather for this bi-annual event. It hasn't let us down yet! Make a date in your diary. It really isn't to be missed.
